Donate to CCVI

Thank you for choosing to give to Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired. Last year, CCVI drove over 65,000 miles to serve children across the midwest in their home or in the community and provided over 6,500 hours of therapy. A donation to CCVI is the key to preparation for children with visual impairment, including those with multiple disabilities, to reach their highest potential in the sighted world.

General Donations

NAP Credits

Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired currently has NAP Credits available for donors to save money on taxes.

Monthly Giving

You can make an even greater impact by joining our monthly giving program, PERSPECTIVE!

Donor Advised Funds

It's easy to make a gift to CCVI through a donor advised fund (DAF). If you have an account with Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, BNY Mellon or Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, contact your advisor to make a gift conveniently from your account. Communicate to your advisor what institution you’d like to receive the funding (CCVI), the designation (how the funds are to be used) and the gift amount. Click here to donate via a DAF.

Qualified Charitable Deduction

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. As a result, donors may avoid being pushed into higher income tax brackets and prevent phaseouts of other tax deductions, though there are some other limitations.
