Nearly two-thirds of CCVI's annual budget must be raised through donations as well as the proceeds from fundraising events including the CCVI Trolley Run, Gingerbread Lane®, The Derby Party and more.
MoreLast year approximately 975 volunteers gave an estimated 12,000 hours of service to CCVI as board members, committee members, classroom aides, tour guides, speakers and by assisting at events.
MoreCCVI is unique. As one of only eight schools in the country who serve children, birth to school age, who are blind or visually impaired, we know our presence in Kansas City makes a difference in many lives. We strive to help all children who need our services, but this does not come without a cost.
