Chiefs rookies visit CCVI

The Kansas City Chiefs Rookie Club visited the Children's Center Campus yesterday and oh, what fun we had! The players and our students decorated "arrowhead" cookies (that look an awful lot like Christmas trees if you turn them a certain direction), sang holiday songs and had a wonderful time together. Then KC Wolf and the Chiefs Cheerleaders visited with each student and gave them each a plush bear wearing a KC Chiefs t-shirt.  We thank the Chiefs Community Caring Team for its generosity. The Rookie Club visit is one of CCVI's favorite holiday traditions.  Photos courtesy of Amy Stroth.
